Ekaterina Kiseleva was born in Moscow. She studied at Moscow State Academic Lyceum of Russian Academy of Fine Arts and in a private art studio in Abramtsevo. She graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts (a workshop of monumental painting under the direction of A.A. Mylnikov).

While studying at the Institute she did practical works in the mosaic studio, made copies of frescoes in Snetogorsky monastery (14th century), by decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts she was awarded a medal for academic success, won the first prize at the student exhibition of drawings and got the praise of the Academy Council many times. She took part in an exhibition "8th International youth festival of the Russian art in Italy" and in the Mobile Academy of Arts project.

She is a winner of international art exhibitions and competitions of contemporary art in Antalya (2013), in Portugal (Gallery of the Union of Artists, 2013), in Geneva (Nest Gallery, 2014), in Moscow (Gostiny Dvor, 2019), New Delhi (2019), in Vienna (2020).

Ekaterina was awarded a diploma for creative achievements in the fine arts from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Member of the Russian Union of Artists. Her works are in the state and private collections of Russia and abroad.
