Description of the artwork «Seated Nude in interior»

This "Seated Nude" the artist wrote in Le Cannet. In fact, Henri Lebacq loved to write his wife: and in the interiorand childrenand Nude. But after the birth of the second daughter of Madame Lebas refused to pose Nude. Maybe childbirth had a negative impact on her figure, perhaps, care of children left no time for posing. Had Lebesco to look for Nudes. Mostly all of them remained nameless, but the two know something. One of the models to pose for him name was Kiki, the second – Marinette. In Le Cannet Leback wrote Marinette, simultaneously with Pierre Bonnard.

In this watercolor before us Kiki. The artist depicted the model with its inherent lightness of the brush. Confidence lines distinguishes it from the Impressionists (and actively used by them black) and in common with Matisse. The girl in the painting is sensual and at the same time innocent, is a relaxed, elegant woman-a Muse, not a passionate woman-mistress. The artist has placed the model among the colorful, patterned carpet, Sunny interior of his house at Le Cannet.
