PAL fried (Hun. Fried Pál; June 16, 1893, Budapest — 6 March 1976, new York) — Hungarian-American painter. A famous portraitist, a master of paintings on the themes of ballet and theatre, a follower of French impressionism.
PAL fried studied art of painting at the Hungarian Academy under the guidance of Professor Paul Hugo (Hugo Pohl). Under his influence Fell Frid wrote a lot of portraits, Nude figures and Oriental scenes. He then studied in Paris under Claude Monet and Lucien Simone. PAL fried, was greatly influenced and impressed with the French impressionist school, in particular Renoir and Degas.
In 1947, after world war II, PAL fried emigrated to America where he taught at the Academy of art in new York and developed his own unique style. In the 1950-60s yy the artist lived and worked in Hollywood, where he acquired great popularity as a portraitist. He specialized in portraits of ladies of high society,
The main technique Fell out Frida: pastel and oil. In the collections of many museums in the world and contains paintings of Frida Fell on the themes of ballet and theatre portraits of dancers before performances, on stage, in the Bohemian life. Paintings Frida was so popular that he or forced, or was, the customers, duplicate several times the same story, changing only the color of the suit or the background of the canvas. Died at the age of 82 years, 6 March 1976 in new York city, 4 days after the death of his beloved wife eve. Work Pala Frida recorded in the Book Arts.
