I was inspired to create such work by an outlandish colorful Iris from the garden of my teacher Stolyarova Lidia Vladimirovna. "Designer" is the name of the work and the variety of iris. The work is written partly by impression (the basis is laid down at once), partly from my photo, as it is impossible to tear such a sitter.
The basis is a thick cotton watercolor paper by Palazzo. Professional St. Petersburg and Netherlands watercolor paints were used for painting. Upon completion, I trimmed the border of the sheet with titanium. A thin torn golden edge gives a special charm to the work. The "Designer" is framed in white passport and white baguette.
