Description of the artwork «Icefall»

One of the cover options for the illustration to the book of memoirs of St. Petersburg M. Lukin. The composition connects two worlds - the Ural Mountains and the ice drift on the Neva River with the help of a characteristic surreal motive - lightning. Symbols of St. Petersburg, a lighthouse and a drawbridge enhance the recognition of the urban landscape, above which the natural spring landscape triumphantly rises.
