Obolensky Nicholas (1838 - after 1907) - Russian landscape painter. A descendant of Prince Ivan Mikhailovich Obolensky (1704-1776). A cavalry officer, eventually - the head of the railway service. Began artistic activities as an Illustrator and draftsman. Obolensky has participated in art exhibitions. In the 1890s the artist collaborated with J. Clover, worked in his workshop and was considered one of the most talented. Many of his works appeared with the signature Yu Clover, although it happened that the last time due to a large employment to apply to the finished painting only a few strokes of the stroke. Artist Obolensky Nicholas is a talented Russian artist, his work is represented in many museums of Russia and Ukraine. Also painting Obolensky N. N are in many private collections.
