Mikhail Vasilievich Akinshin – born February 18, 1927 in the village Lomov (now Kursk oblast). He studied at the Tashkent art school named. Benkova n. and Kyiv state art Institute. Teacher: Redkin S., Zhukov M. Since 1968 member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Was in the field of easel painting. Since 1965 participated in Republican and all-Union exhibitions. First solo exhibition was held in 1977. Major works: "Autumn" (1965); "the Park" (1967); "a Spring day" (1968), "Urban landscape" (1968), "Evening" (1970), "Sea port" (1970), "Bus station" (1972), "Sunny day" (1972), "Cyril fishermen" (1973), "Spring river of Dreams" (1974). Works are kept in Zaporizhia regional art Museum and private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Italy, France, UK. Died Mikhail on July 22, 1982 in Kharkov.
