Biography and information

Filkin Sergey (b. November 10, 1955) is a sculptor, stonecutter, schedule. Member of the Union of artists of Russia and the Union of journalists of the Russian Federation. Honored worker of stone art. Member of the worldwide club of Petersburgers. Commander of the order of A. K. Denisov-Ural (2009) and the order of M. Perkhin (2010).

Born November 10, 1955 in the village of Zaigrayevo, Respublika Buryatiya. He graduated from the journalism faculty of Leningrad state University. Founder and artistic Director of Creative stone-cutting workshop in Saint-Petersburg. Worked for five years in the Hermitage, about two years — restorer in the Amber room. More than twenty years of experience in sculpture and graphics.

Awarded the badge of honor Silver cross of St. George Union. The winner of the Grand Prix of the 4th International competition. Carl Faberge, multiple winner and prize-winner of Russian competition "St. Petersburg jeweler" and the international contest-exhibition "Amber Trip". 2009 — first place in the National competition "jewellers to the XXI century". The Creator of the prize of the international competition of coins "coin constellation — 2007" Cup "Palace of congresses".

Falkina works were exhibited in the Louvre, was presented at the I Biennial of French sculpture in Paris, exhibited at Koller auctions (Zurich, Switzerland), Jackson (new York, USA), Lauritz (Stockholm, Sweden). Master has repeatedly been a participant, winner and winner of jewelry competitions. Participant of international exhibitions in Germany, France, Japan, Lithuania, USA.
