Viktorovich Kumaniaev

Gennady Kumaniaev is a hereditary writer. He was born in 1963. In 1982 he graduated from the Krasnodar Art College, the department "Industrial Graphics", then worked in Sochi's advertising workshops. At the same time I was engaged in free creativity, painting, participated in exhibitions. In 1989, Gennady Kumaniaev was admitted to the Union of Artists.
Now Gennady Kumanyayev's works are known not only in Sochi, but also far beyond its borders.
Every picture of Gennady Kumaniaev is a real extravaganza of color! Paints - fiery-bright, funny and crafty, denoting not the properties of forms, and itself - rule the ball; imagination of candy-mango scents, the sounds of an amazing musical instrument.
The artist works in an open color and texture; Sometimes it turns the surface of the canvas into a multilayered color weave, squeezing the paint onto the canvas with thin trickles. In the semi-abstract forms, the outlines of Sochi sights, palm trees and cypresses are guessed. Reality emerges as if through a huge multicolored stained glass. The use of such "optics" may seem extravagant, but this is the artist's right, his vision, his way of expression.
