Stranger

She likes wearing jeans, making strong Turkish coffee, binge-reading and keeping an online journal... On the weekends she goes to the park, during the summer – to the beach, spends the holidays among family and friends. In the morning she strides to work, her steps are quick, she’s prepared for every challenge and has her stern expression in store. In the evening she could sit on the porch watching the by-passers, cuddle on the sofa with a book, binge-watch “Outlander”… But when the deep blue and the gold suddenly mix up on the palette… suddenly all of her hidden little secrets are suddenly outside, right at hand, and her rigid fingers rummage through forgotten treasures.
Then she unties her golden hair, sits by the window, staring into the cold glass, and flies away looking for…Spirits? Heroes? Liars? – of her forgotten past, secret present or mysterious future. The spirits make no contact, and that’s understandable, that’s why they are the spirits, doomed to remain on the other side of the looking glass, reminding us of their existence from time to time, while they visit our dreams or breathe cold down our necks with a sudden déjà vu… Flying into the cold window isn’t safe, gusts of wind threaten to throw her to the ground, dark birds with amber eyes and shrill voices are circling nearby… but she isn’t scared. She even likes this darkness and its secrets. She makes up her own secret ritual, with a bitter potion that uncovers the truth, with dancing by the bone fire and magic spells to protect the heart…

And in the morning she returns. Takes out her prettiest dress, wears her most care-free smile and proceeds to make her strong Turkish coffee. She has some magic secrets, nice and safe ones, which she’s always happy to share with those she cherishes: “Always finish your hot tea” – She says cheerfully, - “Or it will feel cold. Add some crème to your coffee, lighten it up. Look in the mirror in the morning, the mirror people are very lonely. Hug the trees, thick-skinned ones also have feelings”.
She loves the whole world! She’s been kissed by a sun! She’s grateful to the universe for the sincere smiles… for the incidental closeness of the deep blue skies and a golden ray of sunshine… She loves special people, who see the world through the prism of this ray of light. With them, it’s never boring, it’s like opening a book in a foreign language, studying it, absorbing the culture… sinking into their thoughts deeper and deeper, until you understand, and feel it even in your fingertips…
She is a woman. Woman kissed by the Sun. She’s each and any of us, because a woman is a metaphor. She can take any form. But a real Woman has no limits!
