Biography and information
Yuri Gerbikh was born in 1962 in Leningrad. In 1977 - 80 he took lessons in drawing and painting at the preparatory courses of the Leningrad Higher Industrial - Art School named after I. IN AND. Mukhina and at the same time studied in the workshop of Nikolai Sazhin.
1982 - 85 - student of the decorative - graphic department of the Leningrad Art School named after V.A. Serov.
One of the founders of the creative association "New Peredvizhniki": "The Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions". Founded in 1988 at the initiative of Konstantin Ilyashevsky and Yuri Gerbikh for holding non-commercial exhibitions. It brought together several dozen artists representing various trends, including members of the "Nomad" group.
Yuri Gerbikh is a participant in many exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
