Biography and information


Anatoly Ivanovich Kotov received vocational education at the Art School of Krasnodar. Then for several years he worked as a teacher, and since 1975, his whole life was devoted to painting. Connoisseurs of painting could see his works at forty personal exhibitions held during the life of the artist.

To date, the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts of Stavropol contains forty works by the artist. Many works decorated private collections of art lovers from different countries. The themes of the paintings written by the master are varied, but most of them lead people to the bright world, helping the audience to touch harmony and beauty. Often on his canvases, Kotov compares people with flowers that are fragile but persistent in life.
