Alexandra Kazantseva was born in 1994 in Sredneuralsk, Sverdlovsk region.
She attended art school as a child and later completed courses in design and composition.
In 2018, having tried oil painting on canvas, Alexandra realized that she wanted to professionally engage in painting. To this end, she began to actively engage in self-education: studied the history of art, various
techniques and styles of painting. I combined this with daily work at the easel.
Since 2020 she began to take part in various competitions and exhibitions, where she often won prizes ("Russian Art Award", "Pastelium", "Art Show International", "Mellow art Award", etc.). The author says that the main source of inspiration for her is her daughter, whose birth gave the first impetus to creativity.
Alexandra has painted more than two hundred paintings so far.
Reflecting on the canvas philosophical questions - good and evil, responsibility and personal choice, love - this main engine of life, which everyone is given to preserve, Alexandra Kazantseva creates her figurative and symbolic compositions, using mainly the language of artistic abstraction. This is a series of works: "Time of Kindness", "Time of Choice", "Time of Love", etc.
Combining postmodernist vision with the techniques of realistic writing, Alexandra attaches special importance to numbers and numerical combinations. Often she introduces them into the composition in a coded form, as a metaphor to reinforce the general idea of the work.
