Vladimir Ekimov was born in 1971 in Smolensk. In 1986 he graduated with honors from the Smolensk art school. In 1991, he graduated from the Yaroslavl Art School with a degree in art teacher, designer.
Since 2005, a member of the International Art Fund, (Moscow Association of Artists), since 2006. member of the Professional S.Kh.
In 2008 Awarded a gold medal, National Treasure, from MBF, Patrons of the Century, 2009. - Awarded with a diploma, For creative activity "from the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation" Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. Winner of the international competition of young artists, 2007.
