Rene Bergen is a young artist from Ukraine. She studied art at the Mikhail Boychuk Kyiv Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design.
The direction of Rene Bergen's work is abstract expressionism. The style of her works has been constantly changing over the course of 3 years, the artist painted still life paintings, studied academic drawing, graphic compositions in ink and even computer coloration.
The artist's taste was influenced by the works of avant-garde artists, surrealists and Malevich's Suprematist compositions.
The main concept of the works is to give the viewer the opportunity to relax, to find their own meaning, not being guided by the title of the canvas. With the help of independence, the viewer has the opportunity to find his own special world and observe a different reality. The main task is so that people can offer their version of what feelings and emotions are on the canvas. If the viewer protests, defends his opinion - this task is completed.
