Biography and information

Polish artist of German descent, painter of the Baroque era.

Spent all his life outside of Germany, worked in Poland.

Perhaps the most important work of the artist "Family portrait" was written in gdańsk, in 1664. In the picture of the pronounced features of the portraiture of the 17th century -

figures full-length, luxury clothes, vases and columns.

In the center of the group - richly-dressed young man, for whom a celebration arranged in honor of his appointment in the service of the Royal Falconer.

In style we can feel the influence of Dutch and Flemish masters of the 17th century.
