Biography and information

Jean Baptiste Perron studied in Paris, worked in the capital until 1755, then in Orleans, Bordeaux and other cities of France, Italy, Holland, Russia, Poland, Germany. The works of Perrone, the largest (along with Maurice Quentin de Latour) master of the French pastel portrait, differ in the relative freedom of pictorial and graphic art, tenderness of color harmony. In the chamber, outwardly unassuming images of the artist, Perrone reveals the lyrical side of human nature, the natural softness and kindness of their models
