Moscow and Moscow Oblast
born in 1981 •
Rumyantseva Svetlana Viktorovna was born on March 3, 1981 in the city of Sarov, one of the closed nuclear centers of the USSR.
Growing up in a family of engineers, Svetlana felt a greater need for spiritual development than her technically advanced environment could provide. At the age of 10, Svetlana entered the gymnasium, where, in parallel with an in-depth mathematical bias, she discovered the world of literature and poetry. As a child, she attended theater performances on her own on weekends. Walking in nature among nearby forests, rivers, lakes became a favorite rest. Admiration for the beauty of the surrounding world, perfection and harmony of ordinary things filled Svetlana's heart. This is how creativity was born. It was in constant development, the search for mutual understanding between man and nature. With the aim of self-realization in her teens, Svetlana began to create sketches of clothes and costumes, which she immediately made herself. Later this activity will be continued in the textile design of curtains and interiors.
Along with creative steps, Svetlana goes to the Engineering Physics Institute MEPhI and graduates at the age of 23. The theme of harmony, the search for a person's place in this world does not leave her. In parallel, she enters the Russian State Humanitarian University at the Faculty of Clinical Psychology. Her studies are going well and at the age of 27 she graduates with honors. By this time, two beloved children had already been born. Dedicating herself to their upbringing, she periodically makes sketches of projects for cottages and landscapes, inscribing the nature so beloved by her in human needs.
One day, the thought comes to her mind to do something completely of her own, special, real, new, without adjusting to the initial conditions. Write from scratch. Without a moment's thought, she buys brushes and paints, sits down at the canvas and paints greedily. Long, uninterrupted, passionately, for the first time since childhood, picking up a brush. Since then it will never be the same again .. Every day is illuminated by painting and dedicated to it. The world is now visible through "artistic glasses".
Having not received classical artistic training, Svetlana has been engaged in self-education in this area all her adult life.
Her creative spark is not from the art school, but from God or Mother Nature.
With the help of painting, Svetlana tries to convey the attitude of the elements of nature so deeply felt by her, their impact on man, his perception of the world. Therefore, sometimes paintings are endowed with a brighter color than they actually are. Colors on canvases are designed to wake up, ignite, evoke a response. They carry an emotional load, alternating and contrasting with each other, forming a harmony of complementary elements - the harmony of life.
Love for nature is a key aspect of her creativity.
