Sumo is a traditional Japanese sport in which two athletes try to push each other out of the circle or make any part of the body touch the ground except their feet. Judging carefully, they are being watched by Gyoji, dressed in national clothes from the era of Emperor Muromachi. In addition to the combat component, sumo combines elements of the show and traditions.
