Tarasovich Klets

Ukrainian Soviet painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Klets Ivan Tarasovich was born on January 3, 1947 in the village. Lesnoye (Manevitsky District, Volyn Region) - Honored Artist of Ukraine (2009). Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978). In 1976 he graduated from the Kiev Art Institute and from that year he lived in Chernivtsi. He worked in the industry of easel painting, in the genre of thematic composition, portrait and landscape. He worked in the Chernivtsi art and production plant. The realistic manner of Klets KI is characterized by attention to the illuminated face; used coloristic contrast to achieve the psychological characteristics of the image. Separate works are stored in the Chernivtsi Art and Local History Museum. Member of All-Ukrainian, All-Union and foreign exhibitions. He had solo exhibitions in Chernivtsi (1978, 2007). The artist's works: “Parliamentarians” (1976), “May 1945”, “Surrender” (both - 1977), “Friends”, “Veterans of Labor” (both - 1978), “From the Great Land” (1979), “Veterans of the collective farm “Spark” ”(1980),“ Lesya Ukrainka and O. Kobilyansk, in the Carpathians ”(1981),“ Founders of the collective farm ”(1982),“ Kovpakivsky raid ”(1983),“ Builder of the Dnieper hydroelectric station P. Voloshchuk ”(1984) , "Holiday", "Collective Farmers" (both - 1985), "And as I recall. (T. Shevchenko) ”(1987),“ Memory ”(1991),“ The Battle of Khotyn ”(1993),“ F. Mishin "(2003)," Dniester Hills "(2005). Passed away in 2017. The artworks are in steady demand in the Ukrainian art market and abroad.
