Mikhailovich Nosov

Russia • 1903−1979
Born in the Orenburg province. He graduated from the Institute, which trained railway engineers in Leningrad, worked as a bridge engineer. Having retired, he began to paint. His first paintings were immediately noticed: in 1967 they were exhibited at the All-Union Exhibition of works by amateur artists. Most of all he worked in the genre of still life.
