Description of the artwork «Brevity dispute»

One of the most famous literary controversies was won by Ernest Hemingway, who bet he would write the shortest story that could touch the soul of anyone who reads it. Everyone knows this story - “Children's shoes for sale. Unworn ”and it is really short and emotional. This controversy became the basis for thinking about the future of such short stories, which is reflected in this picture. Indeed, in our time we have all learned to write short, concisely in social networks, SMS, Twitter ... To create a short but catchy phrase is a practically necessary social skill, the basis of modern communication and almost everyone owns it. But is everyone a Hemingway?
