Biography and information

Teacher and artist, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia.
Born on May 26, 1926 on the Manoilin farm of the Kletsky district of the Stalingrad region. Ancestral Don Cossack. I spent my childhood in complete farm freedom, although in those years it was forbidden to consider myself Cossacks, I grew up in the atmosphere of Cossack bread, holidays and Cossack songs. As a 15-year-old boy, I volunteered for the front and was enlisted as a cavalryman in the third squadron of the 60th Caucasian division. After being wounded in 1945, he became a military musician, thanks to which he ended up in Leningrad in 1947, and in 1963 he graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute and from 1950 to this day I have been working in the pedagogical field and lead a children's circle brass band. Since 1990, being one of the organizers of the Revival of the Cossacks in St. Petersburg, the soul sang a Cossack song. He sang in the Cossack ensembles "Living Starina", "Nevskaya Stanitsa", "Bratina". The Cossack song is like a good wine, the more aged it is, the more intoxicated. Ataman of the village of Kletskaya. Participant of art exhibitions.
