Born in 1949 in the village of Udmurtsky Karaul, Krasnogorsk region. Graduated from the Department of Easel Painting and Graphics of the Correspondence People's University of Arts (1981-1987). A famous Glazov artist who has repeatedly exhibited his canvases not only in Udmurtia, but also abroad. Over the past forty years, he regularly participates in all kinds of exhibitions, holds personal ones. Anatoly Spiridonovich has been working with watercolors for over 40 years, although he began to paint as a child. Until 1975, he admits, he painted at an amateur level, and chose watercolor because of its availability. “In the 80s I also mastered oil. Now I alternate these techniques. I paint with watercolors more freely than with oils. A lot of effort and money is spent on oil, it is laborious even in preparation, but you can find watercolor paper and you can work freely in any conditions, ”says Anatoly Spiridonovich. The artist prefers to paint landscapes from nature - for this he often travels to the open air. The artist's works are kept in the Glazov Museum of Local Lore, the Udmurt Republican Museum of Fine Arts, the Kirov Museum of Fine Arts named after brothers Vasnetsov, Urzhum Lyceum of Arts, Museum of Modern Art in Moscow, private collections in Glazov, Izhevsk, Krasnodar, Angarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg.
