In the arms of April

While winter is still arguing with spring,
But soon under the perky drops
Will open the radiant embrace
Blue-eyed sunny April.

With your wide warm soul
He will warm the chilled meadows,
With a hot amber hand
Will melt the ice, the last snow.

And it will rustle mighty and harsh
A full-flowing river flowing
Crushing the crystal chains of winter,
Water will wash generously the shores

And give fertility to the floodplain.
And will be reflected in mirrors
Sisters-willows in golden shawls,
Shining on plush furs

Delicate watercolor primroses
Spring will decorate its curls,
And joyfully cry in the dawn
Cranes over spring Russia.
