Description of the artwork «Eskikh to the triptych "Spring Land" "Spring"»

The sketch is made with tempera paint on cardboard. The image of a Soviet man, inextricably linked with the nature of his native land. He bowed at the spring: to its life-giving moisture, listening to its quiet murmur, feeling with every cell of his body the inexhaustible strength of the beloved land, the awakening spring land!
. At the first zonal exhibition "Moscow Region" the triptych "Spring Land" (1980) attracted a lot of attention. It was noted that this work is not only a significant stage in the work of the artist himself, but also a new word in the interpretation of the theme of labor. Sorogin created images of people working on earth and deeply, poetically feeling the beauty of their native nature. The triptych merged the early lyrical and later romantic aspirations of the painter. The central part depicts a young family located at the edge of the field; Sorogin often serves as a means of revealing the transmitted emotional state of the characters, their psychological portrait, the strings of the soul. All of the paintings of G.P.Sorogin are very musical.
