We were born among gray snowstorms
At the mercy of a triumphant winter.
Gliding from the garlands to the openwork cradles
Tales, dreams, dreams descended to us.
During the day, light poured through the crystal stained glass -
- Wonderful creation of January.
The night hid the house with dark wings,
A shard of amber burned in the window.
We grew stronger in spirit in the battle of snow whirlwinds,
We knew joy and sorrow.
In river time, sailing as before,
To the years gone by we say: "Goodbye!"
And we keep them in our memory correctly.
The universe is a color kaleidoscope!
You move freely and immensely.
Do you know two wanderers in a long search?
Two souls flying into eternity, do you hear the call?
Two minds striving to embrace the mysteries of worlds unknown to us ?!
(Written to my mother on her birthday, January 20, 1989. We were born with her in shining fluffy snows, shrouded in blizzards, in a beautiful but harsh January: I am at the very beginning, almost NEW YEAR on January 3, and she - at the end months after Epiphany)
