Frosty forest

Graphic forest landscape made on pastel paper in mixed media using watercolors, pastels, acrylics and crayons. Frosty and windless moonlit night, shine of snow-covered pine crowns in the light of the moon, fabulous beauty and harmony of winter nature. This work was inspired by a memory from my childhood, my hometown of Borisov and its pine forests, when they returned late from guests on winter evenings, and the light of the moon and snowdrifts enchanted me.
