Now she works as an artist in her particular style. Daria creates drawings on the theme of food, animals, landscapes, objects of everyday life. She has participated in various exhibitions in Geneva, Moscow, Montreux, Milan.
She said, “I am drawn to the beauty of the simple pleasures in life, everyday objects always seem important and enigmatic to me. Still life is a very special genre in art, the absence of the image of man gives space for the imagination. Certainly someone is sitting on the chair, otherwise, why would need a chair. With the toothbrush someone is brushing their teeth, someone is ironing clothes, someone is cutting with the knife, the fruit in a vase to be eaten, etc. ".
Daria is inspired by the creativity of artists from the beginning of the 20th century, like Henri Matisse, Raoul Dufy and Alberto Giacometti, pop art artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, as well as the works of David Hockney and Paula Rego.
