Born July 20, 1942. Graduated from the Sverdlovsk Art School. In 1965 he entered the Art and Industrial School named after. V.E. Mukhina (now named after Stieglitz). Graduate of KhPU them. V.E. Mukhina (1971). Participant of exhibitions since 1969. Since 1979 he has been constantly collaborating with galleries of Leningrad-St. Petersburg. In 2015, the publishing house "Petropol" released the album "Mikhail Trenikhin" about the artist's work.
