Biography and information

Was born on October 8, 1954 in Odessa.

At the age of 9, I began to draw under the guidance of a professional teacher and this lasted for 5 years.

From the age of 14 I attended a painting studio in Tallinn, and then for 2 years I took lessons from a professional artist in Riga.

In 1991 I left for Sweden and worked as a designer at the Stockholm Design Bureau and at the same time studied at the Folk University, in the evening department of painting.

In 2000, I got sick (a blood clot in the right eye, and then a hemorrhage). After the operation, he began to see partially with his right eye - this was the end of his engineering career. So I decided to devote the rest of my life to painting. By that time I had finished my studies at Stockholm Folk University and was able to get a job as a painting teacher. I worked in this profession for 13 years, until retirement.

The first personal exhibition of my work took place in 2004 at the House of Trade Unions in Stockholm. Later, I exhibited in Sweden at least 2 times a year and worked closely with the famous Gummeson gallery of contemporary art (Stockholm, Strandvegen), where V. Kandinsky, Munch and others were exhibited at one time.

In 2007, my personal exhibition was organized at the House of Russian Culture in Tallinn.

Since 2008, I have taken part in the annual Festival "Traditions and Modernity" in the Manege, in Moscow, as well as in galleries in Moscow (gallery "Expression", "Belyaevo", etc.) and Sochi.

I am a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation (TSPH) and a member of the Union of Russian Artists of Estonia.

For 20 years of my creative activity, I have written more than 650 paintings, some are in private collections in Scandinavia, Canada, Switzerland, USA, Slovenia, Russia, China, Great Britain and Latin America.
