Igor Alexandrovich Parakhin.

He lives and works in Astrakhan.

Since 2001 he is a member of the Astrakhan regional branch of the All-Russian creative public organization "Union of Russian Artists".
Since 2006, he has been a member of the Board of the Astrakhan branch of the All-Russian Union of Artists.

In 2018 he was awarded the Gold Medal "Spirituality.Traditions.Mastery." in accordance with the decision of the Secretariat of the Union of Artists of Russia

The themes of the paintings of the famous Astrakhan artist Parakhin I.A. are landscapes, creatively conveying the unique beauty of the Astrakhan region and central Russia. Urban themes, the old Astrakhan, fishing theme, the villages of the Volga valley and spiritual theme, as well as holy places of the city of Astrakhan and the Astrakhan region, Churkino monastery. Igor Alexandrovich actively participated in the painting of churches and temples in the village of Krasny Yar, Kamyzyak. Performed the painting of icons of the Church of Prince St. Vladimir.
