Openly following traditions of Russian realistic art, N. A. Yurikov is deeply modern. It is not easy to be a realist artist, one constantly hears reproaches for not being up-to-date. But the ability to see high beauty in simple and ordinary things is a rare talent. Art structure of Yurikov's canvases brings conciliation, harmony and perfection. Behind this apparent simplicity is a titanic work and a generous gift.
