Description of the artwork «"Vogul."»

The idea to tame moose and use them for human needs was born long ago. Historians believe that the first to do so were Vogul (Mansi) tribes, who used elk as pack and fighting animals. It is known that moose were used by Swedish troops in XVII century, and since the first day of the Finnish war special elk cavalry distinguished itself in the USSR. In the right corner is an ancient bronze ornament in the form of a rider on an elk.
Colored pencil, paper. Original wooden frame. The picture will take an additional 7-10 days to be processed at the Russian customs.
