Biography and information

Ksenia was born and lives in Russia, in Moscow. In 2003 she received her higher education at the leading university of the country, the Moscow Architectural Institute (MARKhI), Since 2019 she is an abstraction artist in the modern style of painting with alcohol ink.

In her paintings Xenia seeks to convey energy, thoughtforms, emotions to the viewer, combining a colorful palette with the dynamics of organic forms and flowing lines.

Xenia's second homeland is Spain. This country with its culture, history and picturesque nature had a great influence on the formation of her author's style.

The organic forms, the play of light and color in Gaudi's architecture, the surrealism of Salvador Dali, the art of Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Joan Miró are the main source of his inspiration.

Her main artistic means are alcohol and acrylic inks, as well as epoxy resin.
Through her work Xenia strives to convey to the viewer emotions based on associations, the energy of color and expression of movement.

For Xenia, abstract art is the language of the senses. Inimitable images are born through the use of airflow from the airbrush and hair dryer, which are the main tools in her work.

Xenia's paintings have found their place in private collections all over the world and have delighted their owners from the United States, Japan, Australia, .... for many years.
