The artist is a graphic artist.
Born in 1926 in the village of Rovnoe, 96 km down the Volga from Saratov. Since 1932 he has lived in Saratov. From a young age he was fascinated by the colors of nature, was engaged in photography and draws for the soul. For forty years he worked in Saratov design institute - "Gipropromselstroy". Specifics of his work visited many corners of the former Soviet Union and abroad (Romania, Algeria, Guinea). He is a veteran of labor and a home front worker. Awarded a number of medals, including three silver VDNH medals. Awards: "Excellent Worker in Agriculture"; Knight of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. After his retirement in 1990, he became interested in working with watercolor miniatures. Deep down Victor Anikin believes that each miniature is a lovingly nurtured child, each work created by him - a kind of iceberg, the top of which is presented to the audience, and the underwater part - the mystery of the artist, interwoven and entangled by the threads of drawing, composition, perspective, color, splashes of inspiration and the style of the artist.
