Graphic artist, painter, member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Born November 13, 1949 in Petrozavodsk. Permanently lives and works in Vologda since 1960. Studied at Yaroslavl Art School (1965-1969). Member of the Union of Russian Artists since 1991. The artist works in the techniques of the original schedule: charcoal drawing, pastel. Appeals to an architectural landscape, still life, portrait. In his creative work he continues traditions of the Russian realistic art. In recent years he is actively engaged in painting. Nikolai Anatolievich works worthy represent the Vologda fine art at exhibitions at various levels: II International Pastel Exhibition "Italy - 2002" (Yaroslavl, 2003, 2004), III International Pastel Exhibition (St. Petersburg, 2005), XII All-Russian exhibition "Russia" (Moscow, 2014), IX, X, XI interregional art exhibitions "Russian North" (Vologda, 2003; Veliky Novgorod, 2008; Syktyvkar, 2013), participant of all regional exhibitions. Solo exhibitions of graphics and paintings: Vologda (1983), Tarnogsky Gorodok, the Vologda region (1998, 1999, 2000, 2012). Works of the artist are in the collection of the Vologda State Museum and museums of the Vologda region. Works by Nikolai Anatolievich repeatedly purchased by the Exhibitions Directorate of the Art Fund of the RSFSR, entered the collections of the Vologda Regional Picture Gallery, Tarnog Museum of Traditional Folk Culture, private collectors in Russia and abroad. N.A. Zhuravlev for active creative work and participation in exhibitions was awarded with Honorary Diploma of the Department of Culture (2009), Acknowledgement of the Department of Culture (2014), Silver Medal "Spirituality, Traditions, Skill" of All-Russian Art Society "Union of Artists of Russia" (2014).
