Obverse: President Hindenburg makes his statement as leader of the state, after him Hitler, as the new chancellor, makes a speech, at the end of which he approaches Hindenburg and they shake hands. The scene on the obverse depicts this.
Reverse: The German eagle brings Nazism to the people.
