Description of the artwork «The fairy wager»

Sensation! During excavations of the ruins of the family estate in Smilovichi (near Minsk), a manuscript of 12 sketches in pencil was found. According to a number of experts, the treasure found belongs to the joint work of A. Modigliani and H. Sutin. For the first time, the portrait characters of both authors are subjectively united in each work. The discovered manuscript is a story written by the masters of world painting themselves. In it, the authors, in the literary form of a dialogue with each other, tell the story of working together and creating the found collection. The narrative takes the reader to Paris 1915-20. Scientists believe that the history of the treasure is quite understandable. In 1935-36. H.Sutin, having received a letter from his mother - Sarah, thought to visit the Little Fatherland. It is known for certain that Sutin, the master of world painting, passed material assistance to relatives, even wanted to send a cow from Paris to Smilovichi. In this regard, anything is possible... Miraculously, the author of a recently appeared phantasmagoric story - omens in stone about the life of Sutin, whose exhibition was held in Minsk in one of the central galleries in June 2021, has been acquainted with the manuscript. Already today, the found sketches are used to recreate a story about the joint work of A. Modigliane and H. Sutin, entitled "Wandering through the "casino of Montpornas".
