Biography and information

Aleksandr Sergeevich Flegontov, born in 1954 in Kazan.
From 1964 to 1972 he studied in the fine arts studio under the guidance of V.M. Lyskov - the Palace of Pioneers named after Abdullah Alish. Participated in the international competition of children's drawings. In 1972 he was awarded the Prize of Berlin (gold medal). From 1972 - 1974 served in the Army.
In 1981, he worked as a graphic artist at the IS-Kozh plant.
From 1981 to 1987. - a free artist in the Privolzhsky District, Kazan.
From 1987 to 2000, he worked as a graphic artist in various organizations of the city.
Since 2000 he has been a designer of museum expositions and exhibitions in the National Cultural Center "Kazan", Musa Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater and the Museum of History of Statehood of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2014 he designed the logo "140 Years of Opera in Kazan" for the XXXII Chaliapin Festival, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the permanent opera seasons in Kazan.
