ALEXANDRA ZABALUEVA is an author of fine art, sculptor, member of the Eurasian Art Union (avant-garde painting section), member of the International Association of Art in Italy (The International Association of Art, IAA/AIAP).
Born in Rostov-on-Don in 1986. She received her art education at the local art school named after A. S. and M. M. Chinenov, and in 2012 she graduated from the Philosophy Department of the Institute of Philosophy and Socio-Political Sciences.
Alexandra works in oil, acrylic and watercolor techniques, creating impressive paintings imbued with profound meaning, as well as lighter works, so to speak, paintings for the soul, creating individual sculptures and sculptural compositions. In her art, Alexandra likes to explore both color and form, as well as combining visuality with conceptuality.
Alexandra Zabalueva's works are in private collections as well as in the Underground Museum in Zaryadye. Over the past few years the artist has regularly exhibited in Russia and abroad. Recent exhibitions include Forbidden Fruit (ArtGuest gallery in Miami, USA, 2021), EXPO Dubai 2020 (UAE, 2021), the Venice Biennale (Italy, 2022) and an exhibition at the Hermitage (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2022).
