Description of the artwork «Taurus. From the "Signs" series»

The work is dedicated to the corresponding zodiacal sign and contains elements symbolizing the sign (the actual symbol of the sign, the planet, flowers, stones, etc.).
The work serves as an illustration to the author's poem of the same name from the cycle "Signs".

Signs. Taurus
He comes down from the sky,
He's running on the ground.
It's either true or false,
Like vapor on glass.

Emerald bars
And an owl's squint,
A thimbleful of thimbles,
The smell of baby mixtures.

The poppy is a gladiator flower,
The rustling of wicked petals.
A look like a fiery crater
From the land of glaciers.

He's second in the star circle,
But, call or don't call,
He is both wind and weathervane,
First on the love list.

In every hydra, in every amoeba,
On interplanetary worlds,
In a hierophant's robe,
With bells on his horns,

He is a Taurus, a star warrior,
The gaze is gentle, the spirit is fierce.
He's made by Venus,
A priest on the field of destiny.
