The Girl in the Pearl Earring

The volumetric picture is made of isolon of different thicknesses, colors. It is soft to the touch. The material is non-toxic, does not burn out even in the sun. The size of the painting is 83x105cm. Isolon is a foam material used for hydro and electric insulation, but it has found its application in art. The idea for the work was the picture of a famous artist. It is impossible for several people to buy the original at the same time and not everyone wants to buy a reproduction. That is why I decided to create an original version of my idea of the painting out of an unusual material.
