Biography and information

Russian Soviet painter.
He was born on September 23, 1948 in the city of Rylsk, Kursk region. After studying in a secondary school he graduated from the Faculty of Drawing and Painting at the Moscow Correspondence People's University of Arts named after N.K. Krupskaya. Then Fedorov returned to Belgorod region and began to live in Valuiki. Here he spent many years working in the MOU SOU ¹ 2 town Valuiki as an artist-decorator, and later in Valuisky House of Crafts as a master. Boris Fedorov is a frequent participant of regional and international exhibitions. In 1986 he participated in a group exhibition "Artists of Belgorod" in the city of Opole (Poland). Also the artist has often organized personal and participated in joint exhibitions in the Valuy Historical and Art Museum: one of the last took place on September 25, 2018 and was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the author. Artist Boris Fedorov works in the field of lyrical landscape and still life. Each of his works is the result of thoughtful and careful study of native nature. His works are imbued with love and a touching relationship to the places where he grew up. He passed away on July 9, 2020. He devoted his whole life to art, stood at the origins of creativity in the Valuy district, and made a great contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage. Thanks to the bubbling activity of this man, his irrepressible energy, the art of painting thrives and has many followers. His luggage includes a large number of art exhibitions, including those in the Valuy museum.
