Still life with daffodils is done on a primed canvas with oil paints. I start painting spring bouquets as soon as they bloom, but sometimes the weather changes so sharply that the daffodils have to be rescued from the snow that has fallen suddenly. And so it was this time. I painted daffodils, which were almost in a snowdrift.
