The Modern Artists art gallery appeared in November 2015 in the VDNKh shopping center, and later, in February 2017, the art gallery continued to work in the Fifth Avenue shopping center in Oktyabrsky Field.
As in the very beginning of the gallery, so now we go against stereotypes: we do not have a rigid artistic selection, we give the opportunity to declare themselves to all comers. This approach allows us to develop and move forward. In any nature you need an influx of fresh energy, fresh ideas, even if they are wrong
More than a hundred beautiful, talented artists of all ages, schools of painting We would like to remember separately the famous sculptor Leonty Ozernikov, who passed away in 2020. His unique sculptural composition from construction debris called "Museum of Insomnia" was last presented in its entirety as part of the work of our gallery. At the time, our gallery represented a daily incredible creative experiment.
for the last two years we have been consistently implementing our concept: art gallery - a symbiosis of music and painting. That's why we often have music - classic and jazz - playing within the walls of the gallery.
Like Tretyakov, we use a trellis arrangement. Not a single meter of space is lost. Condemnation and criticism in this matter does not bother us. The main criterion is that the artists are happy and the visitors are happy.
Our gallery helps artists to realize themselves, not to lose their profession, to survive mentally and physically.
All visitors are welcome. The gallery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Admission to all events is free. We invite all artists to place their paintings in our gallery on 32 Marshala Biryuzova Street in the shopping center "Fifth Avenue", and in our online gallery - modisart.com.
