Biography and information

Artist painter. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
He was born in 1947 in the village of Zaoksky, Tula Region. B.A. Ivanov graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the L.N. Tolstoy TSPU in 1969. At the Institute he acquired the skill of an artist-decorator under the guidance of teacher V.Tkanov. Graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin, Department of Fine Arts. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists. After his assignment and service in the Army he worked in schools in Zaoksky District as a teacher of drawing and English, including the school which was built by the artist V.D. Polenov. Since 2004 B.A. Ivanov works as a teacher of fine arts at Stolbovskaya Children Art School. He calls himself a "dilettante artist", putting in this concept the meaning of love for art. He has been teaching painting, drawing and composition at the Children's Art School No. 7 since its founding. She works in the technique of "wet" watercolor, which is notable for its ease of perception, but is difficult in the performance, because the process of painting is partly unpredictable. The artist reproduces urban landscapes and animalistic themes in this technique. The artist is also good at still lifes. His works are full of color unity and special tenderness of tones. Is active in creative work. He is one of the authors of the current program for high school and junior art schools in drawing, painting and composition. Together with Kovacevich A.A. for many years he organizes outdoor practice in Polenovo. His students are winners of many festivals and competitions. He has the highest qualification category.
