The group of people froze in delight and horror before the shining stream of the River of Oblivion. With their world shattered, there was nothing left to keep them from plunging into its waters.
Nothing but the picture that opened before their eyes. The blue-white balls of light moved measuredly along the channel, the edges of which could not be seen. Their flow was punctuated by bursts of bardic red, bright yellow, pale green, and white flashes of light. The river hypnotized and beckoned, and I wanted to dissolve into its sparkling current and become one with it, abandoning my past and memories.
