He studied at the Academy of arts under the guidance of S. A. Abugov, A. D. and Zaitsev. He graduated in 1946., thesis – "Smolny" under the leadership of B. V. Ioganson. Exhibitions since 1939. (including at the point "all-Union exhibition of young artists dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the Komsomol" 1939. Moscow. Member of the Leningrad branch of Union of artists (1952). He took an active part in city exhibitions of the Leningrad branch of the CX.
