People's artist of Ukraine (1963). B. 27 Dec 1910 in the village of Orekhovka, now Poltava region - mind. 10 APR 1964 in Kharkiv. Graduated from Kharkiv art Institute (1931-36), where he studied under V. Kasiyan. The participant of Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions since 1932. Personal exhibitions: Kharkiv - 1940,1944,1954,1975; Moscow, 1946; Sumy - 1953; Kiev - 1958. Taught in HHI-hhpi (1937-64), Professor (1961).
